Welcome to our special 'hidden' behind the scenes making of page! Today's selection comes from the first two chapters of our Kiwiman comic strip. This material is more or less an earlier draft of the final layout and content that now appears on the STRIPS PAGES.

The Research Phase: a brief description.
This example is really only a sample of the work that goes into the background research.
The scenes are redrawn several times in rough thumbs and sketches. This is like a process of rehersal, not only to establish the layout but also the text or dialogue and the action or business involved in the panel.
